March is reading month. Most schools have fun themes to get kids reading. Ask your kids what the reading theme is this year and their reading goals. Then set aside time every day, or a couple times during the week, for everyone to sit down and read. Even if it is only 15 minutes you will be amazed how many pages you can read in 15 minutes. Then discuss what is happening in your book, newspaper, magazine etc. at dinner, driving or after you are done reading each night. Reading is a exciting adventure for all. Just a reminder I have five magical adventure books available on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles for children ages 7-12. They are illustrated chapter books and read much like a graphic novel for children. Tell us what your or your children’s reading adventure for March reading month.
