First I would like to thank P, J. LaRue, author of The Mystic Princesses and the Whirlpool, Amazon link to Mystic Princesses and the Whirlpool, a wonderful book. She put this blog hop together. Check out her blog is http://words-with-women.com/.
Today I am going to talk about this lovely sweet story by Mrs. D., Olga D’ Agostino. This lovely colorful illustrated book centers around Nyda the house cat. This Christmas holiday cat is reminiscing about Christmas gatherings in the house as family comes home for the holiday. One Christmas the daughter brings home two kittens. Nyda delightfully describes how the dominate cat treats new comers. Made me smile, as I read this story from Nyda the cats point of view.. The story weaves in lessons of acceptance and reminds us that most of us start our in very similar circumstances as family and friends enter our lives. I enjoyed the lovely heart warming holiday story and I think most kids will love following Nyda in the house as she tells her stories . You can purchase the this book and others books by Mrs D. on amazon and barnes. Click on the cover to take you to amazon or use the links listed below. Good Day Folks,
Thought I would let you know my first two books are on sale.
These books are grand adventures that will open up a new world of adventure and imagination for your child. Bonus a dragon is on every illustration.
My other news is my third book released in print for Christmas in July. The reason for print first is I am having a release signing event in my local
small city here in Michigan. It will be out soon in eBook as well. Amazon has quite the sale going on in print below $7.
Just click Tomfoolery’s cover to check it out on Amazon. Already have two nice reviews. It is a wild adventure for James and his pals during the 26 days of Christmas Holiday in Iceland. This is my favorite story.
If you are looking for a little Christmas in July grab it now.
Why Christmas in July. Well my dear friend Chris, a couple of years ago told me at lunch one day. One side of her family celebrates Christmas in July. I of course asked why and said really! Do any of you celebrate Christmas during the summer months except for the southern hemisphere?
Well it is the only time the family can all get together. They meet I believe at their family lake home. They go all out. Decorate, dress, exchange gifts and eat and have fun. I said to her I am going to release my third book in July and have Christmas in July. Fun huh! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer adventure. Enjoy the Adventure WB

Good Day Folks,
Today adventure is early reader Whiskers and Hair Balls by Maranda Russell.
Whiskers and Hairballs by Maranda Russell
When my girls were in Kindergarten and 1st grade every book they checked out of the school library was like this one.
It is a fun little read for early readers. Young children love books about animals. Children and Parents will laugh while reading and looking at the funny poses. The pictures depict the daily life of a house cat. Plus to keep your child engaged in reading, their is a list of find this object in the pictures at the end of the book. Children love to find items on pictures.
I think early readers and parents will enjoy this book. I recommend the sweet, fun read.
A little about Author Maranda Russell~
Maranda Russell (1982-?) was born in Muncie, Indiana, but now resides near Dayton, Ohio. She is a children’s author and book reviewer, a foster parent, a part-time substitute teacher and an enthusiastic lover of cereal and ice cream. She currently writes stories for children based on the experience she has gained as a teacher, foster parent and former child. Of course, the “former” part is questionable since this author still enjoys indulging her “inner child” on a regular basis.
To find out more about this author, her books and the daily challenges of being a writer and a foster parent, please visit her website, http://www.marandarussell.com.
